Eye of Horus
The Eye of Horus is an amulet which was worn in Ancient Egyptian times as a
symbol for personal protection. Legend has it the god Horus lost his eye in his battle to avenge the death of his father, Osiris. Later on it was restored by Isis and was called the widget or "healthy eye".
