The significance of the Temple Bell is best summed up by an old Chinese proverb:
Wherever there is a temple, there is a bell;
wherever there is a bell, there is a temple.
Many Temples are hidden deep within the Mountains of China, each with its own collection of sacred bells. The Chinese have long regarded these bells with a deep reverence.
