Om Mani Padme Hum

The mantra used to invoke protection, means 'Hail the jewel in the lotus.'

It is common to find the Om Mani Padme Hum mantra carved into rocks and piled next to roads,
and the approaches and exits from villages. As this is used for protection,
it is used on the person in the form of bracelets, rings, and pendants.

Mantra Locket P852

Om Mani Padme Hum mantra on an unusual locket, or Gau Box in sterling silver with copper, silver, and gold symbols. A Gau box is a traditional Tibetan prayer box. The back of this box opens and allows you to keep a prayer or relic inside. The square box has Dorja symbols on the sides. Measures 2" long x .3" x .3".

Om Mani Padme Hum is Gold plated over Sterling silver. This very unusual pendant features a double bale. Measures just over 1 1/2" wide x 1" high at tallest point including the bail.

Om Mani Padme Hum is a Buddhist mantra of compassion, meaning, "Hail to the jewel of the lotus." In other words, we must look within ourselves to find the peace of the Buddha. The jewel is in the lotus.

This mantra is sometimes used to ask god to break our barriers of ignorance away and bring us to enlightenment. It is chanted during meditation or for general uplifting.
Om is universal truth. Nama means to bow or honor and Shivaya refers to Shiva. Shiva means purity and as we chant his name our sins are destroyed.

Kali Yantra

The Indian Goddess Kali is the powerful image of a creator goddess and nurturer, the essense of motherly love and feminine energy. It is believed that the misfortunes, sufferings and sorrows are removed from a person's life and his/her wishes are also fulfilled with the worship her.

This mandala is sacred to the feminine in all its aspects with a triangle (the yoni) for woman as creator. A Yantra is composed of lines forming a diagram in which envisioned and experienced energy is concentrated. A square with four entrance portals represents the boundaries enclosing the meditating self. Imbedded in the square are various concentric rings or lotus which express the different stages of spirituality. The original simplicity of the Yantra composition and its energy is so powerful that it reaches the deeper levels of consciousness.
