Please take a few moments to review the following terms and conditions which have been designed to be in fairness to everyone. When ordering from Sananda Shop you are agreeing to these terms, conditions, and policies.
Return Policy -
We have very strict quality control, but in the unlikely event that you receive a defective product, notify us within 5 days of receipt of your order and we will pay for the cost of shipping it back to us and gladly replace the item. You will be given instructions for the return and replacement. We reserve the right to determine the best shipping method.
For all other returns, there will be a 15% re-stocking fee and the shipping charges will not be refunded. We will process the return after we receive the product back in brand new and resaleable condition. You must contact us to arrange the return. We will not accept returns without prior authorization. You will be issued an RA code which must accompany your returned item so we may process your refund in a timely manner.
Please advise us if you would prefer an exchange. Each exchange is handled on a case by case basis and no re-stocking fees apply.
Special order and custom made items may not be returned. Please see the section above about special order and custom items.
A refused shipment will incur a re-stocking fee of 20% and shipping charges will not be refunded.
All returns must have an RA code to expedite processing of the return or exchange.

Back Orders -
Back orders do occur! We offer very beautiful and unusual products. Due to the specialized nature of our jewelry and gift items, occassionally our suppliers are delayed with their shipments to us. Most of the items are cultural or ethnic in origin and arrive from overseas causing the delay. We try to keep as much as possible in stock at all times, and if not immediately available it is usually a short wait. If an item is going to be back ordered for an extended period of time, you will be notified and offered an opportunity to substitute an item or cancel that portion of your order.
We will ship back ordered items seperately from other items in your order, without further cost to you, as soon as they arrive. (Does not apply to International orders.)
Special Orders & Custom Items -
Custom embroidered clothing, dichroic pendants, setting of optional gemstones in jewelry, or gold jewelry that is cast when ordered will require extra time for delivery due to special handling and production. In order to provide this service, we rely on our professionals to produce these unique items.
All special order items may not be cancelled or changed once ordered.

Custom embroidered clothing - 2 weeks
Dichroic Pendants - 1-2 weeks
Setting of optional gemstones - 1 week
Gold jewelry - 6-8 weeks
Fair Trade & Cottage Industries -
We support fair and ethical trade practices in the production of the jewelry and gifts we offer. Our suppliers have arrangements with many small businesses to provide their products produced by artisans, based on the Gandhian concept of cottage industry, fair trade, and ethical trade.
Privacy Policy -
Your Email Address and Personal Information - Under no circumstances will we share your personal information with any third party for the purposes of marketing or email distribution. Your email address and personal information will not be sold, rented or leased to third parties.
Email may be sent to inform you of news or offers by us that may be of interest.
Information that is gathered from visitors - In common with other websites, log files are stored on the web server saving details such as the visitor's IP address, browser type, referring page and time of visit.
Cookies will be used to remember visitor preferences when interacting with the website, for example, this is how the shopping cart remains your own when adding items to it.

Ordering from Sananda Shop -
Payment - All orders at Sananda Shop are placed online. Your credit card/debit card information is not collected by us and you will never be asked for this very personal information. Our payment processor is PayPal which employs the very highest degree of internet security so you can rest assured your delicate information is safe. Your online payment with PayPal does not require a membership. MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card, American Express, and E-Checks are accepted. Shop with confidence!
Shopping Cart -
Your shopping cart contents will be available to you even if you leave our site and come back later, saving you time by not losing what you've added.
Upon check out, you will be asked if you would like to sign up for the special features the cart offers. If you decide you would like to do this, your billing and shipping addresses will saved for the next time you order. In addition, you will be able to review the details of previous orders. Your information will be password protected and for your convenience only. This service is optional and not required for order placement.
